January 7, 2026 – METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection Group will showcase a wide range of advanced inspection systems at IPPE, taking place Jan. 27 to 29 in Atlanta. Located in booth C24159, the company will present x-ray, metal detection, checkweighing and vision inspection technologies that help meat, poultry and animal feed processors and packers strengthen their food safety programs, improve product quality and streamline production across their facilities.
“Protein applications place unique demands on inspection equipment,” said Tom Koshy, Sales Director at METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection. “From washdown-ready designs for rugged environments to state-of-the-art detection capabilities that can find even low-density bone fragments, our high-performance systems help meat and poultry facilities achieve consistent inspection results in some of the food processing industry’s most challenging conditions.”
At IPPE this year, METTLER TOLEDO will exhibit their X36 Series DXD+ x-ray inspection system. This premium solution delivers outstanding detection, identifying hard-to-find physical contaminants including bone, glass, metal and stone and performing a variety of product integrity checks to protect overall product quality.
Also on display will be the C33 PlusLine washdown checkweigher. Built for harsh production environments, this system combines accurate weighing with a rugged design. The C33, including its HMI, is IP69 rated and proven to withstand caustic detergents and high-pressure cleaning, making it ideal for meat and poultry plants.
The Profile Advantage metal detector will be on display with an integrated conveyor designed specifically for meat and protein applications. The conveyor features stainless-steel construction and tool-less removable components for fast sanitation. Also on exhibit is a Profile Advantage pipeline metal detector for liquids, slurries and purees.
Turning to vision inspection, the V31 verifies the integrity of graphics, reads and confirms 1D and 2D codes and inspects alphanumeric characters to identify labeling defects and inconsistencies. These capabilities support consistent packaging quality and reduce the risk of incorrect or unreadable labels entering the supply chain.
All systems on exhibit will be connected to METTLER TOLEDO’s ProdX™ data management software. By enabling customers to remotely monitor equipment and easily collect, save, search and share data, ProdX helps protect food safety, improve production efficiencies and maintain regulatory compliance.
